Meet Vanessa

Name: Vanessa Norwood
Age: Late Teens
Height 5' 7"
Weight: A girl never reveals her weight! (Allright, she's between 130-145 lbs.)


When Vanessa was conceived, she was developed to be a cheerful, somewhat ditzy, spunky and importantly, attractive female. She likes the colors pink and purple. Her hairstyle in her present form is based off an old-school hairdo, and her pink headband completes the look. She is well-built, and as a result, she has quite the figure. Vanessa also doesn't take many steps to display her sexuality but she does flaunt it whenever possible.


She can be quite short-tempered at times but she does a fine job of controlling her temper. Jealousy, however, brings out the worst in her.
She has a younger sister whose name is Shannon. We MIGHT get to her in a few... 

In the first comic strip she appears in she attempts to prepare a package of ramen noodles only to fail horribly, showing her inability to cook, which was something intended to counter the stereotype that "all women belong in the kitchen". In the second comic strip I featured her in along with another new brainchild (Darren, but we'll get to him soon) showing off her voracious appetite for sweets. She also has a massive crush on her childhood friend Darren, whom she met on her first day of preschool after moving to her new town. Her best "girl" friend is Daisy (who we'll also get to).

I designed a younger version of Vanessa (And the other three friends) as part of a story arc I've been thinking of recently, as a type of "origin" story- I'll get to it one day on these blogs. :)
